Organic Herbal Teas

Herbal tea, often called an herbal tisane or herbal infusion, is generally made from dried fruits, herbs, or flowers. Each of these herbal teas are naturally caffeine free, Non GMO Project Verified and handcrafted with love in my own kitchen using only the highest quality, certified organic ingredients. Recipes are based on time-honored formulas handed down through the years by herbal sages...with some yummy extras thrown in! Herbal teas can be drunk hot, room temperature, iced (just double the amount used) or even made into ice cubes.
Morning Wellness Herbal Tea
Morning sickness is a common although irritating symptom of pregnancy, but this refreshing, nutritious tea contains herbs which are known to alleviate nausea and calm the stomach. Relax and sip while reading a good book, such as "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth". Also available in tincture form. Contains Organic: ginger root, wild yam root, peppermint leaf, dandelion root and orange peel. Suggested Use: Have someone brew you a cup and bring it to you in the morning while you are still in bed. Eat a few dry crackers or some dry toast as well, to replenish blood sugar levels. Make a quart of this tea and sip throughout the day or until nausea subsides.
La Leche Materna Herbal Tea
Drinking "La Leche Materna" (Mother's Milk) tea encourages and a rich, healthy breast milk supply and contains potent "galactagogues". It's advisable to make these teas by the quart rather than by the glass so that you can sip them throughout the day. Add four or five teabags to four cups of cold water on the stove. Bring to a simmer. As soon as water begins to simmer, remove from heat. Let tea infuse for 10 minutes. Add some raw honey or sugar to suit your taste. These teas are best drunk hot. Once brewed, your herbal tea is best stored in the refrigerator and is then good for 3 to 4 days.
